The iconic Ambassador motor vehicle, when the image of the powerful elite, is aiming to make a comeback, even though in an electric avatar this time.

In accordance to media studies, Hindustan Motors, the brands of the nicely regarded brand of autos, are planning to collaborate with a European electric powered vehicle maker. The system is to make electric powered vehicles and as for each reviews in unique sections of the media, the two organizations have signed an agreement to seal the partnership.

Hindustan Motors in collaboration with its European associate, will produce electric powered two-wheelers to start out with. Studies also explained that the collaboration will be on a 51:49 ratio, where by the controlling stake will be with Hindustan Motors. 

Hindustan Motors experienced sold the Ambassador title to Peugeot for Rs 80 crore which incorporated the brand and rights, and it is with Peugeot that Hindustan Motors is collaborating for creating electrical cars, reports included.

The new electric car or truck will be manufactured in Hindustan Motors’ Chennai plant, which at the time used to produce Mitsubishi autos, experiences stated. 

The past Ambassador auto was rolled out from Hindustan Motors’ Uttarpara plant in West Bengal in September 2014.
