Caught on camera: Driver of sports car veers onto Abbotsford lawn

Abbotsford law enforcement are inquiring for the public’s support to detect a driver who was caught on digicam swerving on to a lawn.

Police explained the “harmful driving incident” took place Saturday on Sunnyside Highway near East Road.

Surveillance movie taken at about 7:30 p.m. shows the driver of a black athletics car veering over the sidewalk and on to a garden in a residential place, then backing up in advance of rushing off.

No pedestrians appeared to be on the sidewalk and no cars and trucks were parked on the road.

Law enforcement failed to say what type of auto it may have been other than to say it was a “black sports auto,” but some commented on the department’s social media article saying it appeared like a Lamborghini Huracán.
