The 2022 Jaguar F-Type: It’s All About The Engine, Speed, And Performance
The Jaguar F-Type competes with the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette in looks and performance. And while the Corvette has a more thrilling style and design, the F-Type gets extra points for its engine. Both run on a V8 engine, but while the 2022 Chevrolet Corvette has a 6.2 liter V8 engine, which delivers 490 to 495 horsepower, the 2022 Jaguar F-Type has a supercharged 5-liter V8 engine. The F-Type also has the powerplant in front of the driver and features a Switchable Active Sports Exhaust system.
Drivers who love speed will enjoy the F-Type. This beast accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 to 4.5 seconds. Naturally, the F-Type R is the most powerful model, delivering 575 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, while the P450 and P450 R-Dynamic models deliver 444 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque.

It reaches a top speed of 186 miles per hour (vs 177 miles per hour for the P450 and P450 R- Dynamic) and it accelerates faster than the other models.
The Coupe R has a starting price of $108,500, and has an impressive interior as well as effortless performance. Also, the wheels come in Gloss Black with contrast Diamond Turned finish instead of Gloss Dark Grey with contrast Diamond Turned finish. Meanwhile, the P450 Coupe is less prominent, but still a spectacular model.
